Bee (engl. B) — the programming language developed in Bell Labs. Is a descendant of the BCPL language and the direct predecessor of language of Si. Authorship of a programming language of Bee belongs to Ken Thompson. It should be noted active participation of Denis Ritchey during Bee's creation.
