The decision of the main owner of Rusagro, Vadim Moshkovich, to leave the company's board of directors was also announced on March 10, 2022. He served as chairman of the board of directors. Richard Smyth also left the board of the agricultural holding.
By March 10, 2022, Vadim Moshkovich owns less than 50% of the authorized capital of Rusagro. 25% of the shares are in free float, Maxim Vorobyov is the owner of 10% of the shares, another 8% belongs to Rigpa Limited, controlled by former Rusagro CEO Maxim Basov.
On March 11, 2022, it became known that Granada Capital CY Limited (the structure of Vadim Moshkovich) sold 7.22% (1 million 973.599 thousand shares) to Ros Agro (the parent structure of Rusagro). With this in mind, Moshkovich's share in Rusagro decreased from 57% to less than 50%. The buyer of the stake was a citizen of the Russian Federation Yuri Zhuravlev, other data on him are not given.
On March 9, 2022, it became known that the European Union expanded the list of sanctions to include 14 Russian businessmen and heads of large industrial companies, "which operate in the main sectors of the economy and are a significant source of funds for Russia," as well as individual members of their families. Among them was Vadim Moshkovich.
As of March 10, 2022, three people remain on the board of directors of Rusagro:
- Maxim Basov;
- the chairman of the board of CyproDirectLimited Tassos Televantides heading auditor committee Ros Agro (the head structure of group registered in Cyprus);
- Anna Khomenko, Managing Director of Cyprus Fiduciana Trust Limited.[1]
