CEN (Unified Space System)

.

2020: Plans to launch the system by 2024

Russia will create the Unified Space System (CEN) by 2024, and this will allow global control of the surface of the globe, said Head Minister AEROSPACE FORCES Russia Sergei Surovikin in July 2020.

CEN consists of spacecraft flying in Earth orbit. It will increase the resistance of the combat control system to interference.

In September 2020, tests of the space communications complex with Blagovest spacecraft should end.

In 2022, it is planned to begin the deployment of a promising Unified Satellite Communications System of the third stage of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and in 2023 the deployment of a highly orbital space reconnaissance system will begin.

According to him, in the interests of the Aerospace Forces, a unified command and measurement system "Topaz" is being created, which will allow you to control spacecraft in all types of orbits.

For radio engineering troops will create a new Niobius radar complex from modern components. In 2020, the Nebo-M complex is in service. Niobius will be able to detect hypersonic aircraft, and it will detect ordinary vehicles at a greater distance than Nebo-M.
