XV-XVI vv: Emergence premises

The historians Marxists studying emergence of capitalism in Western Europe can be separated into two directions conditionally. Certainly, both groups of authors bring development of the bourgeois relations in Europe out of objective economic processes, but not out of idealistic concepts as Protestant ethics of Max Weber.

So, the first direction studies internal economic processes, in particular technology revolution, unrolled in the West in the 15-16th centuries, growth of domestic market and formation of a bourgeois method of production. "The cities show the raised village product demand, the subsistence economy finally is replaced commodity, and it means that it is necessary to change all economic organization. Eventually, also the agriculture which is more and more guided by requirements of the market begins to change. Capitalism grows from development of feudalism".

On the other hand, the world - the system school Vallerastayna focuses attention on the global processes which shook Europe in the 14-15th centuries. First of all, it is the Black death which mowed clean up to 60% of the population of Europe and falling of Constantinople. "Plague, having destroyed to a third of the European population, created demand for hired labor power including in the village. Fall of Byzantium predetermined trade crisis and search of new maritime routes that led to discovery of America and travel to India. The gold flow from the New World led to "revolution of the prices" when gold lost former purchasing power, but the goods demand sharply increased... Colonization of America created transatlantic economy within which there was capitalism".

Certainly, both points of view have the right to existence, however, you should not forget that it is about the different parties of one process. Most likely, both factors added each other — in the late feudal West the huge technology and social potential which needed external stimuluses collected suddenly to break loose.
