Child Digital Profile

.

2026: The first launch of the project in Russia

On January 13, 2026, the Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov announced the launch of the Digital Child Profile project in the region. The program will begin work in 30 schools in the region, becoming the first such experience in Russia.

The project involves the creation of an electronic medical record for each child. It will collect a complete health history: data from the period of pregnancy of the mother, the results of all medical examinations, vaccination, analyzes and examinations. The main goal is to build an individual health care system for each student for early detection and prevention of diseases.

"Digital Profile of the Child" is launched in Russia

The key element will be the development of personal recommendations for teachers and parents based on profile data. For children, the optimal level of educational load, suitable mode and types of physical activity will be determined.

Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the project will unite the efforts of health, education, sports and culture systems. Its task is to ensure the continuous improvement of children's health through integrated observation, taking into account the features of development and the current physical state in order to achieve sustainable positive dynamics.

The decision to launch the project was made on the basis of medical statistics. Studies show that the proportion of absolutely healthy children (the first health group) decreases from 70% among first graders to 30% among school graduates.

The program provides annual preventive examinations. If violations are detected, monitoring of the implementation of medical recommendations and assessing changes in the student's health will be carried out every six months.

Vyacheslav Gladkov noted that parents generally support the initiative, but treat it with increased attention. The regional administration intends to actively consult with parents, teachers and doctors during the implementation of the project.[1]
