2022: IT systems are being implemented in Kazan to combat corruption
Kazan In introduced digital systems to combat corruption violations. This became known in early December 2022.
We are talking about the systems "Contour Security," "Legal Control" and "Digital Auditor," said Kiyam Belyaev, adviser to the mayor of Kazan on anti-corruption issues. The new technologies help process more information, he said.
"Contour security" can identify corrupt actions by officials during public procurement in the field of urban planning and the provision of municipal property and land.
The Digital Auditor project aims to control officials responsible for the protection of public order in the administrations of the city's districts and other responsible persons. With the help of this system, the work of municipal controllers is monitored - employees of the administrative and technical inspection department, officials responsible for protecting public law and order in district administrations, as well as administrative commissions. The introduction of the system made it possible to more than 2.5 times reduce the time for employees to draw up protocols, Belyaev said.
The Legal Control system contains information about the progress of litigation in the metadata format. The system provides information on the plaintiff and defendant, categories of cases, claims and courts. Over the past year, almost 13 thousand court documents were registered and processed through the system.
A significant amount of information received daily by local governments requires modern digital solutions that allow processing a significant amount of information for corruption risks in real time, "Belyaev said, adding that this is why the city authorities attach importance to the creation of effective digital mechanisms aimed at minimizing corruption manifestations.[1] |
