Russian market of ventilators

2020: The Russian Federation exported more than 600 ventilators
On July 8, 2020 more than 600 medical ventilators (IVL) became known of export from Russia. The equipment is shipped to Uzbekistan, Serbia, Italy and Belarus. The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov told about it on government hour in the Federation Council.
He added that Russia also agreed about sale of the USA of terminals for temperature measurement. The minister did not give financial and other conditions of contracts (producers of the ventilators delivered abroad are not called), however noted that previously the companies provided a stock of anti-virus products in the Russian Federation.
According to Manturov, for search of foreign partners Minpromtorg connected the Russian trade missions to work and also implemented the online platform on collecting of requests of exporters.
In June, 2020 ventilators sent the USA to Russia twice. Transferred to Russia 200 devices to total amount of $5.6 million. The first 50 ventilators were delivered on May 21, 150 more arrived on June 4.
On a grant basis the speaker of the House of Representatives of the congress Nancy Pelosi called transfer of devices inexpedient, having noted that Moscow could pay the cost of devices completely.
During the performance in the Federation Council the Minister of Industry and Trade reported that by July 8, 2020 12 million masks a day and also 250 thousand antiplague suits a day are manufactured in Russia though to a pandemic of a coronavirus of COVID-19 produced no more than six thousand suits a month. Demand within the country gradually falls therefore export of means of protecting was resolved, he added.
There are arrangements on shipment of protective suits to Turkmenistan, anti-septic tanks and disinfectants to Gulf States. Preparation for tenders in Brazil for masks and respirators is conducted — the minister told.[1] |
