The Italian authorities are looking for the head of Uralkali Dmitry Mazepin after the disappearance of his two yachts from Sardinia, confiscated as part of EU sanctions.

Two yachts called Aldabra disappeared from the Italian port of Olbia in the summer of 2022.

As ANSA reported in January 2023, the prosecutor's office is studying records in the Tuscan resort town of Forte dei Marmi, whose financial resident is a businessman. The city hall has already issued a public notice of fines against Mazepin due to the disappearance of yachts.

Thieves robbed Oleg Tinkov's villa

In November 2022, thieves robbed Oleg Tinkov's villa in the Italian city of Forte dei Marmi. According to local media, the theft was carried out by three people who demonstrated'exceptional professionalism'. On November 17 evening, they hacked into the businessman's security systems and safes, which contained expensive watches, bags and jewelry. The total amount stolen exceeds several hundred thousand euros.

Prior to that, the thieves robbed a neighboring villa, which belongs to a Russian billionaire and surrenders to a family of Ukrainian financiers. Police are investigating and examining CCTV footage - they allegedly recorded the perpetrators.
