The Frankfurt stock exchange - (German Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse, abbr. FWB) — the largest German and one of the largest world exchanges. Main index: DAX (German of Deutscher Aktienindex) — reflects stock prices of 30 largest German companies, is a barometer of a status of the German economy.

History FFB
Starting point of existence of the exchange acceptance by dealers in 1585 of uniform exchange rates of currencies in Frankfurt am Main which by that moment already became large European shopping center is considered. In Germany takes the leading position since 1949. An operator of the platform is Deutsche Boerse Group AG. Under control of "Deutsche Boerse Group" created on its basis it was transferred in 1993.
