The standard is designated GOST R 71843-2024 (IEC/TR 63283-3: 2022) "Digital industry. Smart manufacturing. Part 3. Cybersecurity recommendations. Smart manufacturing, as noted, is a component of the digital industry that ensures the manufacture of products based on high-tech complexes and automated control systems. At the same time, the intensity of information exchange between market participants increases, which creates additional cyber risks. The adopted standard establishes cybersecurity recommendations for the smart manufacturing and digital industries.

The document defines the main terms that are recommended for use in all types of documentation and scientific and technical literature in the field of digital transformation of industry and the creation of smart industries. The adopted standard, as emphasized, should be applied in conjunction with other documents of the standard system in the digital industry.

The new stage in the development of smart production is characterized by a high level of self-organization of production systems, which increases cybersecurity risks. The security mechanisms used should be able to support stakeholders, balance and protect their various interests.[1]
