The personal "number/code of health" will be assigned by HES ("Hayat Eve S ığ ar") for each resident of the country like number of the ID card (the CU of kimlik numaras ı), the Minister of Health of Turkey Fakhrettin Codjia told in June, 2020.

Turkey considers that the similar measure is necessary for prevention of further spread of COVID-19 virus. The HES code provides information on people who were affected by a virus or were in contact with sick patients and is necessary on all internal and international runs from the country for citizens of the Republic of Turkey. It will be checked in 24 hours prior to flight then passengers will be notified on their status.
