2021: Perfomance Lab: 38% of IT managers have a digital transformation specialist on their staff
On March 22, 2021, Perfomans Lab released a report on the annual research RQR 2020-2021 (Russia Quality Report), reflecting the state of the market for IT product testing services and quality assurance of IT systems in Russia.
The latest RQR describes trends and changes in the field of testing and quality assurance of IT products in Russia in 2020 compared to previous years.
During the study, approximately 350 respondents at the level of IT directors and test managers were interviewed.
The report is based on feedback from experts from different market segments who share an opinion on how important the testing stage is in the process of developing and launching software products, and why it should not be ignored, although there are opinions of those who are not yet ready for testing due to insufficient information about the benefits of testing.
Testing is in demand, but not yet in all areas of the economy due to ignorance of processes, high cost and other reasons. Creating IT solutions of high quality without first testing and applying this stage in the process of improving the product is quite difficult.
