Import Substitution Plan

CYPRESS Methodology

  • Control of standard AWS images. Development of OS standards, basic (standard) system-wide and application systems. Implementation of mechanisms for creation and maintenance of standard "images" of AWS.
  • Management of application systems. Analysis, standardization of application systems that are not part of the standard "image" of the AWS, and mechanisms for managing application systems.
  • Application system compatibility. Analysis of existing application systems for compatibility with the selected import-independent OS, network services (directory service, information security systems), database management systems, etc. Selection, justification and implementation of mechanisms and technical solutions for ensuring compatibility of application systems.
  • Migrating user data and settings. Analyze, optimize the structure and types of user data, develop and implement a technology component for migrating user data and settings, and implement centralized management and control mechanisms.
  • Creation of a test laboratory. Create a test laboratory to implement a full-fledged pilot infrastructure close to the infrastructure of the organization. Development of the test program and methods.
  • Deployment and migration mechanisms. Development and implementation of a technological component for the implementation of automated migration mechanisms to Russian software. Development of a process standard for software change management.
  • Office application systems. Analysis of office application systems, selection of Russian alternatives. Implementation of independent formats of office documents and domestic fonts, deployment of office systems, data migration, transition support and risk management for this class of application systems. Work on all application systems that require integration with office systems in terms of printing, reporting and data exchange.
  • Prepare the supporting migration infrastructure. Analyzing the IT infrastructure of the facility, working out measures to optimize the IT infrastructure, providing basic infrastructure technologies.
  • Information security. Develop and/or optimize information protection systems and ensure compliance. Preparation of automated systems for certification in accordance with Russian FSTEC Orders No. 17 and No. 21.
  • General management of the project for the transition to domestic software. Overall Import Substitution Project Management
  • Interaction with users. Organization of user support, training of users and IT specialists. Development, approval, implementation of internal regulatory and administrative documents.
  • Commissioning. Analysis and standardization of the best experience for applying the results and technological basis of the import substitution project. Ensure the implementation of management standards as part of the transition of all systems to commercial operation.

Transition Project Milestones

Design

A separate design stage for the development of technical solutions and procedures for switching to the use of domestic office software includes:

  • analysis of compatibility of hardware and software with domestic office software;
  • development of technical solutions for ensuring compatibility with domestic office software;
  • Analyze unstructured user data, develop technical solutions to migrate unstructured user data
  • development of technical solutions for automation of migration process;
  • development of an end-to-end test program-procedure for developed technical solutions

Migration

Migration stage from foreign software to domestic office software includes:

  • organization of life cycle ON and computer management processes (migration management processes);
  • creation of the Competence Center for domestic software;
  • training of users and technical specialists;
  • conducting complex migration from foreign to domestic software in automatic mode with migration of data and user settings.

Development and support

The development and support phase includes:

  • establishment of key user institutions;
  • organization of the Service of technical and methodological support for users with integration of support lines for Russian software and computer manufacturers into the process;
  • replication of developed technical solutions to achieve transition targets.

  • development and testing of technical solutions for transferring accounting AWS to Astra Linux
  • introduction in all ove of domestic fonts pt astra serif, pt astra sans
  • the emergence of a new version of the Astra Linux OS
