On survey results in 2017, participants of the Russian market VIDEOCONFERENCING in the majority are not coming to emergence of any revolutionary innovations. According to them, the market waits for systematic evolutionary development with completions and "grindings in" of already known technologies and functions. Standards WebRTC and H.265 which development will simplify interaction of users are most often mentioned and will improve possibilities of video conference. However, some experts, nevertheless do more courageous forecasts.

According to Egor Voytanik, the Head of Department of communications of TrueConf company, the market waits for standardization of the protocols and codecs used by different browsers for implementation of the WebRTC standard:

Matter not only in lag of IE/Edge and Safari in implementation of this technology, and that in each browser it is differently implemented that complicates development of media gateways. And the market waits from them for steel concrete reliability, then they quickly and for will cheap connect any user devices and applications with videokollcentra, traditional VKS systems, subscribers of other communication services.

He also speaks about rapid development of a trend of embedding of VKS (embedded video conferencing) in everything:

According to him, the mobility and ease of use for the user will remain in a priority so it is expected the quantity of the products providing access to service via the browser i.e. further evolution of WebRTC will increase.

Besides, he believes that the market waits for further development of the technologies allowing to support modern algorithms of coding (H.265) and permission 4K for achievement of the maximum effect of presence during the communication session.

Market leaders of VKS actively show new products. Tools are already available to customers to simultaneous transfer to four flows of content from any devices virtual negotiation, during the session, the image of HD of quality and the camera with fivefold increase which are not requiring manual adjustment. Of course, there is a wish to believe that there will be an ideal combination of the necessary components capable to reduce the cost of service when preserving transmission quality of a sound and the picture, - Alexey Gromakov adds.

Leonid Zhestev, the lead engineer of department "Multimedia systems and a video conferencing" of LANIT-Integration company, believes that shortly you should not wait for innovations as such:

Most likely, instead we will see bigger development of solutions in the spirit of desktop solutions VIDEOCONFERENCING with the video camera by 360 degrees and their optimization at cost.

Some experts nevertheless are more progressive in the forecasts.

So, Andrey Sviridenko, the chairman of the board of Spirit, believes that revolutionary changes in the VKS area should be expected based on 3D technologies of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI).

AR, AI and VR in the long term will become an integral part of communicating process, - he considers.

Denis Chernoskov, the director of the department of system integration of Corus Consulting Group, considers that the future behind the personified solutions VIDEOCONFERENCING, for example, with function of recognition of users at an input to the meeting room.

Such solutions will have access to a user calendar, its contact list and even to specific features of workflow for creation of most personalized user experience.
