MBO
Management by Objectives (MBO) is a method of management on the purposes. Technology of motivation of personnel. The method consists in setting of the specific measured purposes for each employee and periodic discussion of progress on the way of achievement of these is more whole
Advantages
- Permanent focus on the purpose of the organization.
- Performance of the people having specific purposes is higher than performance of people to whom the purposes are accurately not set or whom ask to try.
Tasks
The purposes and tasks are built by the principle of SMART. The purposes should not be much at each level. 3-5 main objectives are considered optimal quantity:
- Specific – specific to the organization / division / employee
- Measurable – measurable (for this purpose it is necessary to define metrics for calculation of performance)
- Achievable is achievable, realistic
- Result-oriented – focused on result, not on efforts
- Time-based – needs to set temporary requirements for the purposes.
