Market map "Russian manufacturers of telecom equipment"

The TAdviser analytical center has released a new map "Russian manufacturers of telecom equipment," on which it noted domestic developers of solutions for the telecommunications sector.

The map contains manufacturers of telecom equipment in 11 categories, including developers of switches and routers, PBXs, base stations, solutions for transport optical systems, the Internet of Things, etc. - over 90 companies in total.

About the current situation

The Russian market for telecommunications and IT equipment is developing, in our opinion, quite successfully, albeit a little in isolation from the global market. The key influence on it is still emerging legislation and the desire of customers to buy Russian equipment. At the same time, they want it to be of the same quality as Western, but in price it is consistent with Chinese.

Our market is in the role of "catch-up." Western competitors are incorporating artificial intelligence technologies into their products and solutions. We, in turn, are trying to produce the most localized core switch motherboard. But over time, of course, we will catch up with global competitors.

About prospects

The telecommunications equipment market in 2026-2027, in our opinion, expects fairly steady growth. The main reasons for the growth will be the ongoing import substitution policy, as well as the growth of demand in such areas as data processing centers, digitalization and automation of production, the development of networks of telecom operators.
