September 13, 2021 Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation announced the introduction of payments for maternity in a proactive mode - without writing statements on the transfer of benefits.
The FSS will receive information on the amount of salary, maternity leave from the employer, on the fact of the birth of a child - from the information system of the registry office. Based on this data, the Social Insurance Fund (FSS) will prescribe maternity benefits and in connection with the birth of a child.
From January 1, 2022, the mandatory formation of a certificate of incapacity for work in the form of an electronic document will be enshrined. As explained in the Ministry of Labor, the appointment and payment of such benefits within the framework of compulsory social insurance will be carried out directly by the insurer - the FSS.
In connection with the transition to electronic hospital workers, you will not have to bring any documents to the employer to receive sick leave payments. The sick leave number will come directly to the Social Insurance Fund for payment, as well as be sent to the employer.
The maximum amount of maternity benefits in 2021 for the entire period is set at 340,795 rubles at the birth of one child and 474,244,5 rubles at the birth of two or more children. Such a payment will be able to receive women with a salary of at least 73,000 rubles. per month. The allowance is calculated at 100% of the average salary for the last 2 years. If the work experience of a woman is less than six months, then the allowance will be assigned based on the subsistence minimum. A one-time allowance in connection with the birth of a child from February 1, 2021 is paid in the amount of 18,886,32 rubles.
On May 18, 2021 State Duma , it adopted amendments to support families with children and pregnant women aimed at implementing the president's initiatives, Russia Vladimir Putin which he announced in his message to the Federal Assembly on April 21.
It was noted that one of the amendments implies the appointment of a monthly payment in the amount of half of the children's subsistence minimum in the region (on average this figure is 5660 rubles) to incomplete low-income families with children. So, from July 1, 2021, the amount of such payments will average 6350 rubles per month.[1]
