MathML
The third version of the standard of display of mathematical formulas MathML published by Consortium World Wide Web Consortium on October 21, 2010 differs from previous in adding of several elements useful first of all to the image of the examples which are found in school mathematics and also the improved support of national writing, including for languages with the direction of the letter from right to left.
Now using MathML it is possible to write formulas with addition, multiplication and division "in a column", and for some transactions in the standard it is described several styles of record which are used in the different countries of the world. Also special characters for a loan and add carry and subtraction are supported. Thanks to inclusion of MathML in the DAISY standard intended for creation of the texts adapted for reading by programs synthesizers of a voice, mathematical texts become available to people with poor eyesight. The number of the national languages supported in MathML is increased.
The Firefox and Camino browsers support MathML 2, Opera – the MathML for CSS profile, and for Internet Explorer there is a MathPlayer expansion with support of MathML 3.
