2024: Ex-Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Justice Sergei Gerasimov joined the board of Norilsk Nickel
Norilsk Nickel announced that from September 20, 2024, the former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Sergei Gerasimov joined the company's board. In addition, the board included Vice President for Personnel Policy Daria Kryachkova and Nikolai Utkin, Acting First Vice President - Head of the Block for Interaction with Authorities.
Gerasimov was born on March 21, 1954. From February 18, 2010 to October 28, 2014 he served as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. After that, until August 21, 2017, he served as First Deputy Minister of Justice.
It is noted that after the appointment of new members, the composition of the board of Norilsk Nickel increased from 11 to 14 people. It includes:

2022: The new board of directors of Nornickel is approved. Chairman changed
On June 20, 2022, Norilsk Nickel announced the approval of a new board of directors. Andrey Bugrov was elected its chairman, who was elected to the board of directors as a non-executive director on June 3, 2022, and before that he served as senior vice president of Norilsk Nickel for sustainable development.
Bugrov replaced Gareth Penny, who left the company in March 2022. He headed the board of directors of Norilsk Nickel since 2013. Together with him, two more independent executive directors of the company left - Roger Mannings and Robert Edwards (all three are British citizens).
The Board of Directors also approved the composition of the committees of the Board of Directors:
- Maxim Poletaev became the chairman of the company's strategy committee of directors;
- Sergey Volk was appointed Chairman of the Corporate Governance, Personnel and Remuneration Committee;
- Alexey Ivanov headed the audit committee of the company's board of directors;
- Sergey Batekhin was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors Committee on Budget.
- Stanislav Luchitsky became the chairman of the board of directors committee on sustainable development and climate change.
