The ontologic model is a description of data domain which:
- Uses standard elements of a metamodel (for example, objects, the relations, etc.)
- Aims to repeat in an explicit form key aspects of data domain most fully and authentically
Distinctive features of ontologic models:
- Use versatile tools of the description of knowledge
- Are focused on structuring knowledge and their storage
- Cannot be applied to planning of future states of the described data domain
The digital double of the organization – an example of ontologic model
Digital doubles of the organization – the forecast models describing everything aspects of organization activity (functional unit, the project) as components of the single integrated system
- Contains the description of processes, resources and an environment of the company
- Allows to imitate scenarios of activity, to estimate risks and to find optimal target statuses
- Reflects knowledge of management and employees, and allows to apply them to the solution of managerial tasks
Application of the digital double for the investment management
- Identification of the TsD parameters which the project influences
- Simulation of an operating cycle of the company for scenarios "with the project" and "without project"
- Forecasting of cash flows for each scenario. Project efficiency evaluation as differences of DCF
- Simulation of stressful scenarios. Identification of key project risks. Development of anti-risk actions
Effects of application of knowledge management systems
- Increase in cost efficiency of companies / processes / projects for the account:
- More exact and optimal planning (regulation of transactions, integration of plans, loading of capacities, resource allocation, development of resources, etc.)
- Decrease in losses from implementation of risks (idle times, a shortage/overexpenditure of resources, non-compliance with terms of execution of works, etc.)
- Decrease in cost value of processes at the expense of their regular analysis and optimization (application of best practices, identification of critical factors of costs, assessment of new partners, types of MTR, technologies, the equipment, etc.)
- Increase in efficiency of interaction of employees due to formation of the new social environment at the heart of which there are digital doubles of the organization
- Increase in stability of business due to growth of speed and quality of adaptation to changes
- Increase in efficiency of management decisions for the account:
- Transparency of models of digital doubles
- Decrease in dependence on a human factor
- Growth of processing speed of new information
- Balances of business processes
- Increase in efficiency of an IT landscape for the account:
- Integration of key these all IT solutions in uniform model
- Associations of business architecture and IT architecture in uniform space
- Transparent representation of a role of IT solutions in business processes
