Oxytocin
The content of oxytocin in the brain increases with hugs, kisses, intimacy. In addition, the amount of this hormone increases sharply when the baby is breastfeeding - both in the brain of the mother and in the brain of the baby.
In other words, you can increase the level of oxytocin only together! This hormone is called an attachment molecule, because it gives a sense of well-being and contributes to the construction of strong relationships between couples and children and parents, provides a number of important physiological functions: from carrying pregnancy, uterine contractions during childbirth to the production of breast milk and from the formation of social connections to the reaction to stress.
The abundance or lack of oxytocin affects the benevolent attitude towards other people and psychological stability.
In some countries, at the end of 2019, synthetic oxytocin is sold as inhalers and is used as a relaxing agent.
