Process Intelligence
Process Intelligence (PI) is a combination of technologies of business process management (BPM) and a business intelligence (BI). PI brings strategic and operational management to new level. If measurement of degree of success of business using Business Intelligence yields its results, but does not show different ways of their achievement, then PI helps to receive the best business results the best of possible methods.

The analysis of operational indicators together with the actual business processes made using tools of process analytics offers new prospects in company management. At once the efficiency of the existing business processes becomes visible, and if the set indicators are not executed, the reason of failure can be set at once then measures for its elimination can be taken. Therefore, the management should not wait for the end of quarter to see a problem in financial statements as the Process Intelligence tools allow to monitor constantly accomplishment of planned targets by the company at the level of business processes. As a result of it instead of management in the "fire extinguishing" mode the company has an opportunity to eliminate errors at early stages. According to a saying "it is impossible to manage what you cannot measure" this approach provides assessment of effectiveness of a company performance and efficiency of the existing business processes. And though most the companies already implement at themselves BI tools, however tools of the class PI can be met only at the most mature Russian companies.
