2018: The most problem smartphones
In July, 2018 Blancco company which specializes in software development for erasing of data from computers and smartphones published a research in which told about the most problem phones.
Devices on Android are recognized according to the results of testing more problem, than based on iOS. The first in general showed 18.9% of failures and errors, the second — 15.2%.
Among tubes running Android worst of all the situation is at products of Samsung: about 27% of smartphones of the South Korean company gave error messages during a research in the first quarter of 2018.
The three of producers which Android smartphones are capable to bring the greatest headache to users included Xiaomi and Motorola with fault indicators 14% and 9.5% respectively. Brands of Huawei (8.4%), InFocus (7.3%), 10or (6.3%), were located with LGE (4.7%), Longcheer (2.9%), Lenovo (2.7%) and OnePlus (2.5%) with a trace.
The most unreliable smartphone based on Android experts called Galaxy S7, on the second place there was Galaxy S7 edge, on the third — Galaxy S5.
Most often difficulties in operation of smartphones on Android are experienced by inhabitants of Europe — 37% of the tested smartphones in the region were in a varying degree unstable. For comparison, in North America and Asia indicators were 11% and 25% respectively.
In a case with iPhone a picture another. Here most of all Asian users suffer - at once 87% of the considered "apple" tubes did not work should in the way. In Europe like those there are 44%, in North America — 14%.
Explaining leadership of Asia, experts assumed that local clients, most likely, most often address to shops on different problems with phone or retailers carry just out more diagnostic tests.
Apple The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s models were the leader in number of errors among smartphones. Up to 22% of devices when testing showed themselves not from the best side. Difficulties to users, according to experts of Blancco, deliver also iPhone 7, iPhone 5s iPad Air 2.
Specialists pay attention to what the digits specified in a research reflect not only the probability of breakdown of specific model, but also that how widespread it is in the market. iPhones 6 and 6S, first, are on sale for a long time (since 2014th and 2015th, respectively) therefore their share generally "park" of IOS-DEVICES above. Besides, the probability of breakdown of the three-four-year gadget regardless of model or the producer is higher, than at released one or two years ago.
If to speak about specific problems, then in iPhone most often there is a failure in work of Bluetooth (9% of a total quantity of errors), Wi-Fi (8%) and a set (8%). Errors in attempts of an exit in the mobile Internet happen in 4% of a total quantity of faults.
Among Android electronics the greatest number of complaints concerns the general decline in production — this problem is related to 34% of devices at which these or those defects were shown. Shortcomings of operation of digital cameras are mentioned in 14% of cases. Besides, are pointed to problems with the microphone (9%), charging of the rechargeable battery (7%) and operation of the earpiece (7%). In the first quarter 2018 of a problem with performance were noted only at 10% of smartphones, the failures connected with sudden termination of work of the application had the same share.
In a research it is also said that nearly 75% of iPhone while more than a half of devices works at Android running the version of Nougat released in 2016 work at the most relevant version of IOS by the time of the publication of the report.[1]
