Research: One remote worker saves the companies to 170 thousand rubles a year[1]
Employers on average save 170 thousand rubles a year on one remote worker, follows from the report on the Russian market of remote work J'son & Partners Consulting and "1С-Битрикс". On the scale of all economy of Russia the amount approaches 68 billion rubles.
Including employers save on the rented workplaces — up to 160 thousand rubles a year on one place (including 10 thousand on office equipment and software).
Other important factor of economy - the salary. For Moscow economy on one employee can make about 20 thousand rubles a month at the expense of a wage differential in regions.
"Economic effect to Russia is 94 billion rubles: on providing jobs (64 billion), on the flexible organization of working time (27 billion), on expansion of geography of hiring (3 billion).
In total in Russia in 2013 more than 2.3 million people remotely worked that on 188 thousand it is more than 2012. In 2014 the number of remote employees (by data for November) had to be about 2.53 million people (or 4% of 68 million working people).
24% of freelancers and remote workers use IT solutions, the others work out of office in view of specifics of a kind of activity (couriers, drivers, forwarding agents, etc.).
To most of remote workers 25 up to 33 years (according to 46% of respondents) or from 34 to 42 years (according to 24% of respondents). On average in the Russian Federation, more than 75% of remote workers – a male (according to 48% of respondents).
75% of the employees working far off have the higher education (according to 66% of respondents on average in Russia and 72% - across Moscow and St. Petersburg).
51% of the remote workers working with IT solutions work programmers, 27% - designers, and 15% - analysts. 68% receive identical salaries with office workers, 12% earn more.
