The rating of the cities on the average salary: in Moscow 103 thousand rub

The average salary of residents of Moscow exceeds 100,000 rubles, in two cities of the country it appeared higher than 90,000 rubles a month, follows from the rating of the Russian cities on the wage level.

Growth of the average salary by 12.1% up to 88.9 thousand rubles

At the end of April, 2020 Management of Federal service state of statistics on To Moscow and the Moscow region (Department of the Federal State Statistics Service for Moscow) called the average salary in the capital — 88.9 thousand rubles by the beginning of 2020 against 79.7 thousand rubles the previous year. Thus, the average monthly nominal accrued payroll of workers across Moscow in a year increased by 12.1%.

Professor, the vice rector of Academy of work and the social relations of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation Alexander Safonov connected growth of the average salary with wages indexation of the budget sphere and also with building of salaries in the large companies.

The average salary in the capital for January, 2020 was 88.9 thousand rubles, it is 12.1% more, than for the same period of 2019

Salary changes for category of top managers always go higher rates, than the average salary for other employee categories — Safonov reported, having emphasized that in the Moscow region many large companies are based.

According to the Department of the Federal State Statistics Service for Moscow, the highest in Moscow by the beginning of 2020 the staff of the enterprises for production of tobacco products had an average monthly nominal accrued payroll — 176,971 rubles. The second place was taken by the metallurgists earning on average 165,622 rubles. The three of the highest paid specialists was closed working in the financial and insurance industry whose income was 160,458 rubles.

High compensation is recorded in the field of information and communication (130,583 rubles by January, 2020), in the field of electricity supply, gas, steam and air conditionings (106,862 rubles) and also in professional, scientific and technical activity (106,016 rubles).

Least of all employees  of hotels and catering establishments (42,306 rubles), specialists in the polygraphic sphere (44,161 rubles) and furniture makers (50,494 rubles) receive.[1]
