TAdviser Interview: Vitaly Gritsay about the strategy of development for the international ITGLOBAL.COM brand

Since January, 2019 the ITGLOBAL.COM group, before IT-Grad, entered international market in a format of global IT service provider, products and services. What plans for development are put before itself by the company and as the brand will develop, in the interview Vitaly Gritsay, the chief executive of ITGLOBAL.COM told.

What is ITGLOBAL.COM? Tell about key activities.

Vitaly Gritsay: ITGLOBAL.COM is a large international company which implements services based on own distributed cloud IT infrastructures. The list of services of group includes Managed IT services; functional IT outsourcing and system administration; delivery, installation, support server, network equipment and storage systems. For 2019 we planned opening of 8 additional locations, for 2020 approximately 12. Are understood as a location data centers in which the company places the equipment and based on own capacities renders cloud services. ITGLOBAL.COM locates the centralized technical command, centralized marketing and concentrates on three main activities:

  • Click&Buy – provides recurrent cloud services in transactional model. Services are implemented via own software product in completely automated type.
  • Enterprise – renders services of management of IT over own cloud platforms, infrastructure of other cloud providers, such as Amazon, Azure, Alibaba and based on the selected client's equipment. Implements custom, difficult IT projects for corporate customers in Enterprise-model. Locates own sales department, works with partners, resellers, including in the White Label model regarding Enterprise and Click&Buy clouds.
  • Integrator is local integrator, implements projects of any complexity based on own infrastructure, third-party suppliers and private client installations. Is engaged in delivery, implementation and operation of the equipment. Performs the Box Moving projects. Has a wide portfolio of services which includes products of third-party producers – NetApp, Cisco, ServiceNow and own developments – Simple, VAS Experts, vStack.

What values do you want to put in the company in order that it was attractive?

Vitaly Gritsay: Here it is possible to select six directions which for us have the top priority in work.

  • First of all, everything begins with a brand. ITGLOBAL.COM is the company the extrovert who creates opinion on herself and advances the market.
  • In terms of a command, for us it is important to be fair to employees and attractive in order that in our company the best professionals of the market worked. Being amicable and solid, we go towards a common goal, adhering to a uniform vector of development.
  • In the attitude towards the customer we proved fair, open, customer-oriented.
  • We intend to catch any market change, to keep up to date, try to adapt and adapt the market for own vision of development.
  • We build the process company without mess and bureaucracy, with uniform point of entry and a clear understanding of what in it occurs and where everyone understands the role, realizes responsibility and participation in this or that process.
  • Trying to be modern and successful, we create own style.

Why you departed from IT-Grad and began to develop a new international brand?

Vitaly Gritsay: As IT-Grad has obviously expressed Slavic shade Grad, the exit to international market under such name would be extremely difficult. And irrespective of sale of cloud business of IT-Grad to the mobile operator of MTS we planned rebranding. But the transaction took place, and it only helped us. We left from IT-Grad and now we work on promotion of the updated brand.

I will remind that earlier we were the local IaaS-provider quite large in the market, were present at Russia, Kazakhstan, Republic of Belarus. At some point understanding came that the cloud movement is an interesting subject, but providing smart services is more perspective direction. Five years ago infrastructure as service was a new, demanded solution therefore we provided this service. Gradually infrastructure leaves on lower level of abstraction, and clients look towards more smart offers more often. To us as to the global supplier, there is a wish to provide such solutions. Infrastructure giants on behalf of Amazon, Azure, Alibaba and local players of MTS, Mail offer infrastructure, and we on this base assume to build services with final business customer value.

Certainly, we do not forget also about personal experience. For this reason the company will be provided by cloud platforms worldwide. In assets of ITGLOBAL.COM there are already operating platforms in Belarus and the Netherlands. In the nearest future we are going to open locations in Turkey and the USA. Further this list will only be supplemented.

ITGLOBAL.COM is going to provide full range of services, including Managed IT. What is it, as far as the service is popular in Russia and abroad?

Vitaly Gritsay: Managed IT is the managed IT infrastructure covering all range of tasks for providing final business value to the client. Despite popularity abroad, in Russia this type of service is yet not strongly developed.

Acting as Managed IT Service of provider, we already build private clouds based on own, leased or client iron, we build DevOps processes for clients, we book audits, including on compliance to the set requirements, quality of design of systems, security. ITGLOBAL.COM undertakes accomplishment of all complex of the tasks connected with IT within Managed-services which are provided by our company.

I consider that the Managed IT direction will enjoy popularity, the western trends testify to it once again. We are going to become pioneers in this direction, developing service in the markets of the CIS and internationally.

What does ITGLOBAL.COM essentially differ from the competing players of foreign market in?

Vitaly Gritsay: ITGLOBAL.COM first of all differs in competence and maturity of business processes. In 10 years we saved up high examination in the field of providing cloud services and difficult custom projects under the client. Long-term experience and technically expert command allow us to concentrate on rendering not only a standard set of services, but also to provide complete solutions of own development, own stack of technologies of virtualization and consolidation of IT infrastructure. It does product and service portfolios of group variable and interesting to the customer.

We are going to enter the markets of developing countries where global players are not provided yet. It will allow clients without excess efforts to open representations in any point of our presence.

Tell about plans in the Russian and Belarusian markets.

Vitaly Gritsay: In Russia more we will concentrate on rendering services of Managed IT and, as a result, implementation of interesting non-standard projects, including integratorsky. If it is required to the client to "castes" based on a cloud of IT-Grad or any other cloud provider in Russia or the world, we are ready to implement it. In addition to told, ITGLOBAL.COM is going to promote services in creation of private clouds, lease of physical servers, DevOps and supply of equipment.

In Republic of Belarus 2 months ago we started in production Click&Buy the solution, and for May, 2019 the company has acting clients. We in every possible way are going to support and develop this direction. As for Enterprise-solutions, the company is ready to increase capacities of own cloud platform. Existence of fully functioning sales department allows us to concentrate on project implementations according to regulations of the Belarusian legislation.

And in the conclusion tell about plans in the world market.

Vitaly Gritsay: We are going to build network of cloud platforms and to actively look for partners on direction B2B/B2C with a bias towards B2C White label. Regarding the countries where it will be required by the internal market situation, we will leave with B2B-services only through partners, in addition proposing solutions from a service portfolio of the company. As for B2C, we are going to expand geography of the presence and to come to new locations with B2C-solutions, starting quick transaction sales. Estimating a market behavior, we will be able to speak about further perspectives. And if they are, we will be able to open sales departments for implementation of custom projects in the local market. Also we see great advantage available of points of presence of ITGLOBAL.COM in developed and developing countries. It will give to clients ample opportunities on rendering services in any point of presence at qualitatively high level.
