The Russian LTE there are HPIP (Hybrid Public Intellectual Product)

On the Russian-Belarusian strategic exercises "West-2013" the fragment of the telecommunication network working in the domestic standard of communication of HPIP for the first time was publicly unrolled. The Deputy CEO of Interstate corporation (MRK) of development Sergey Demensky^[1] told CNews about it^[2].

Development in the Omsk radio plant of Popov of the standard of communication of HPIP entering into structure of MRK became known in 2010 on its presentation at an exhibition Svyaz-Expokomm-2010. Then the HPIP standard (Hybrid Public Intellectual Product) received the metaphorical name of "the Russian LTE".

Features of HPIP the CEO of the plant of Popov Ivan Polyakov calls work "in the conditions of high local concentration of subscribers and deficit of a spectral resource, the bigger number of active subscribers in comparison with the systems of other standards, the high capacity of a system and an advanced algorithm of processing of a signal is essential".

Unlike LTE, the HPIP standard at a bigger coverage of the base station provides smaller capacity: for 2010 10 Mbps against about 320 Mbps at LTE& On assurances of developers, differ bigger, than the existing analogs, in environmental friendliness.

Technical characteristics of the HPIP standard still did not reveal, but in 2011 the rights to its promotion in the countries of Southeast Asia were sold to group of Asian investors for $30 million.

Deployment of a fragment of network on the basis of HPIP on exercises "West-2013" - not the Russia's first case of use of this standard, however, by words Sergey Demenskogo, still it found the application, as a rule, in the protected secret networks. The fragment of field network based on HPIP in "West-2013" provided the system of government communication (communication with the Supreme Commander), Sergey Demensky explained.

The doctrine "West-2013" passed on five polygons in the territory of Russia and Belarus. The telecommunication network built on them prednaznatsya for providing to army commanders of different types of communication: video, conference communication, an input in network of civil telecom operators and the gateway of field network and stationary complexes of communication.

As client devices in network the computer, IP phone and diskless offices of the Central Bank and MB worked (field phones with the central and local battery). Capacity on each of the directions made up to 310 Mbps. Determination "three-dimensional" is caused by use in network of active repeaters onboard unmanned aerial vehicles.

The hardware of the field three-dimensional network tested on exercises "West-2013" was under construction on the equipment of the Radio plant of Popov entering into structure of Interstate corporation of development and the Belarusian Scientific and production enterprise "Volatavto".
