"We are also working on the possibility of introducing autonomous travel and unmanned control," the mayor added.

In 2023, the authorities will purchase almost 300 modern Moscow-2020 cars for the metro, and in 2024 they will improve trains in accordance with the wishes of passengers, Sobyanin continued. They will update the interiors and install new generation chargers, as well as add more amenities for people with limited mobility, the mayor said. Trains, he said, will make it quieter and more comfortable.

The head of the city also said that in 2023 about 300 of the latest Russian-made cars "Moscow-2020" will appear in the capital's metro, and more than 800 such cars will be purchased within three years. In addition, from next year, the authorities intend to "improve the trains taking into account the wishes of passengers and world trends": update the interiors and present a new design of the head car, make trains quieter and more comfortable, install more modern chargers and organize more amenities in the cars for people with limited mobility.[1]
