Svyaz-bezopasnost, Federal State Unitary Enterprise

The federal state unitary enterprise "SVYAZ-bezopasnost" is created in October, 2001 on the basis of the Federal law "About Departmental Protection" and Regulations on departmental protection of the Ministry of Communications of Russia approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Federal State Unitary Enterprise SVYAZ-bezopasnost is Departmental protection of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and provides services in protection of objects and constructions of the communications industry in all territory of the Russian Federation.

Main objective of activity of the enterprise is ensuring protection of the protected objects which are under authority of federal executive authorities in the field of communication, in particular:

• ensuring safety and protection of data (information, technologies), components the office, commercial and protected by the law other secret;

• protection of loads, values, documents and other property at their transportation and maintenance, implementation of actions for operation of means of technical protection and the security fire warning, etc.

The enterprise performs the activity on the basis of the Charter, in close interaction with law enforcement agencies, together with bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and FSB.

Assets

Federal State Unitary Enterprise SVYAZ-bezopasnost has large filial structure. For August, 2013 territorial subdivisions of the enterprise work in all regions of the country, 71 branches in 7 federal districts are created.

The number of workers of departmental protection is more than 16 thousand people, under physical protection over 3 thousand industry facilities are taken, technical means protect more than 30 thousand objects, on arms there are 4.2 thousand of military and office weapon. For successful solving of tasks of quick response to the arising emergencies on the protected objects within Federal State Unitary Enterprise SVYAZ-bezopasnost the Mars special forces detachment is created.
