2023: Ledvakh Trade bought 3M Volga
On June 7, 2023, it became known that the American company 3M sold the 3M Volga plant, located in the Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan.
It is known that the buyer was the Kazakh company Ledvakh Trade, registered in April 2022 in Astana. The head of this company is Mikhail Vakhrushev, president and co-owner of the VMP research and production holding (association of production, trade and service organizations). In Russia, Vakhrushev owns 50% of the legal entity Ledvakh LLC, registered in the Primorsky Territory in August 2022.
3M decided to sell Russian assets in September 2022 due to the current geopolitical situation. In addition to the 3M Volga plant, the American company operates an enterprise for the production of personal protective equipment in Volokolamsk near Moscow. In March 2023, information appeared that VMP would become the buyer of assets. And now it is reported that the 3M Volga plant became the property of Ledvakh Trade, but there is no information about the amount of the transaction and the conditions for its closure.
According to SPARK-Interfax, ZM Volga LLC with an authorized capital of 640 000 000 rubles in 2022 received revenue of 3.3 billion rubles. The loss amounted to about 457 million rubles.
