2025: Hobby World bought 4game
Hobby World Holding became the sole owner of the 4game video game platform, receiving a 100% stake in Fogame LLC, which owns the specified platform with a portfolio of video game licenses. The transaction was registered on June 26, 2025.
According to Vedomosti, before the transaction, 99% of the shares in Fogeim LLC belonged to the Cypriot company Digivita Ltd., the ultimate beneficiary of which is Israeli citizen Alexander Savelyev. Anastasia Yarzhembovich had the remaining 1%. The details of the transaction and its value are not disclosed by the parties.
The partnership plans to create a sustainable entertainment ecosystem with a wide range of gaming and hobby products. Hobby World CEO Mikhail Akulov said that a wide range of products will be available to users - desktop and video games, large-scale and collectible prefabricated models, magazines and portals about fantasy and fiction.
According to the publication, Hobby World and Fogame will strengthen the cross-promotion of gaming products. Akulov noted the intersection of a large loyal audience of the Fogame platform with the audience of Hobby World products. The representative of Fogeim added that, together with the holding, the company plans to develop a gaming culture in Russia.
Hobby World Holding includes several areas of activity:
- publishing board games with the Hobby World and Magellan brands;
- publishing house "Lifestyle";
- Hobby Games and Mosigra store chains;
- "World of Fiction" magazine;
- CrowdRepublic crowdfunding service;
- control in the toy manufacturer "Star."[1]
