Name 5.25 legend

At the beginning of production of computers standards on the sizes of internal blocks - so-called "form factor" were defined. The form factor 5.25 inches (5 "25) was the most known and long living. It is known to most of "old" users as the size of the first flexible diskette. Now with a form factor 5" 25 optical disk drives are issued.

We added the logo symbolizing "the digital house" and characterizing 5.25 in broader aspect to the name: not only computers, but also many other devices, programs, and solutions on their basis which can be useful in the digital house of the future be it office or the apartment house.

Astrakhan-Garant-Service founded in 1996 by 2006 becomes the enterprise, widely known in Astrakhan, working in the field of information technologies.

In October, 2005 division of retail sales Astrakhan-Garant-Service receives the new name - "shop of digital equipment 5.25".

In January, 2007 rebranding of a name of all group is carried out. Instead of the enterprise of Astrakhan-Garant-Service in the Astrakhan market the new marketing name - 5.25 appears.

Day of foundation of Astrakhan-Garant-Service is celebrated on June 28, 1996 as a birthday 5.25.
