The ABK group is founded in 1992. During the period from 1992 to 1996 the main activity of "ABK" — wholesale and distribution of means of hygiene, household chemicals and household goods. In 1995 "ABK" begins promotion on the Russian market of means of hygiene of the BELLA trademark of production of the Polish company TZMO.sa and soft papers of the LOTUS trademark of production of the Finnish plant NOKIAN PAPERI (at that time entering into the JAMONT group).

In 1996 "ABK" opens the retail network, largest in Moscow, on sale of means of hygiene and goods of household chemicals numbering more than 60 pavilions in the Moscow small wholesale markets. In the same terms home transport company is created.

Since 1997 "ABK" is engaged in retail in food products, creates the Moscow's first network of "neighbour's" supermarkets. Since fall of 1997 when the first "neighbour's" supermarket of "ABK" was open, the number of supermarkets of network constantly grows and in December, 2002 reaches 15.

Since 1999 "ABK" begins rendering in the supermarkets of the address social help to needy Muscovites, and in a year when the Government of Moscow begins program implementation on accreditation of social shops, becomes its active participant.

In 2001 for the purpose of further centralization of logistics the uniform distribution and logistic center is created.

In the summer of 2002 of "ABK" completes implementation of the centralized control system of merchandising based on the software package Gestori of the French company FIT. From now on shops and other remote objects of the company work in a common information space.

For convenience of buyers since spring of 2002 supermarkets of "ABK" are transferred to the round-the-clock operation mode. By the end of 2002 of 10 of 15 ABK shops work according to scheme 24/7 (round the clock and without days off).

Since 2002 "ABK" begins to develop the franchasing program for independent retailers food products in Moscow. In October, 2002 the pilot franchasing supermarket of "ABK" opens.

All supermarkets of network on a centralized basis are controlled the GESTORI Pro system implemented by specialists of FIT company.
