The Akom enterprise obtained a loan of 500 million rubles under 5% of IDF at the end of 2015 and in August, 2016 opens the new line in the Samara region. Project cost – 1.2 billion rubles, will create more than one hundred jobs. The Akom company will release rechargeable batteries which were not made earlier. They will exceed indicators of import analogs – will serve up to three times longer than the normal filled-in batteries and to be loaded quickly. Besides, will provide up to 100 thousand cycles of start of the automobile engine (today at leaders of the industry this indicator does not exceed 40 thousand cycles). The enterprise is going to increase the share in the market of rechargeable batteries from 18% to 26%, having partially pressed foreign producers whose share in the Russian market makes about 30%^[1].

Production will be for this purpose retrofitted and the release of new types of accumulators is organized. Technical parameters of future product will significantly exceed import analogs and rechargeable batteries will serve up to three times longer than the normal filled-in batteries, to have the increased density of storage of energy and to be loaded quickly. Besides, they will provide up to 100 thousand cycles of start of the automobile engine (today at leaders of the industry this indicator does not exceed 40 thousand cycles).

The innovation lead-acid rechargeable batteries of the classes EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery), AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) and GEL (Gel Electrolyte) are not manufactured in Russia today therefore products of AKOM Ltd will not have domestic analogs in the nearest future.

Consumers of products – the enterprise of power, telecommunications, transport and communication and also owners of cars. The company is going to participate in creation of the systems of the distributed reservation when implementing infrastructure projects in territories of the advancing development in the Far East, in Eastern Siberia, Kaliningrad and the Republic of Crimea.
