APM scientific and technological center (STC of APM) since 1992 is engaged in creation of computer systems of reverse engineering (CAE) for the Russian and foreign companies of a machine-building, instrument-making and construction profile.
The STC of APM develops the software covering all range of problems of durability, dynamics, calculations of parts of machines, mechanics of continuous mediums, thermophysics.

APM company which in the beginning was one of divisions of the Innovation center of Bauman Moscow State Technical University as the independent structure was created in October, 1992. She was engaged in software development in the field of automated design of machines. This type of activity was reflected also in the name which turned out from the first letters of expression "Automated Design of Machines" — APM. To that timepoint on the market of software products APM company already released the version of an automated design engineering system intended for accomplishment of engineering calculations of separate parts and nodes of machines.
