2013: UniCredit sells ATFBANK
On May 2, 2013 Kaznitrogengaz LLP and UniCredit Bank Austria announced completion of the transaction on purchase and sale of a share in 99.75% in the Kazakhstan JSC ATFBANK (parent company JSC UniCredit Bank). The transaction was approved by National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 29, 2013.
2007: UniCredit buys ATFBANK
In November, 2007 the deal on acquisition of ATFBANK of the Italian UniCredit Group — the leading European Bank with firm presence in 22 countries of the world was closed. The global network of Group covers about 50 countries where more than 162,000 employees work in more than 9,600 branches (as of 12/31/2010). Subsidiary banks of Group can be found in the following countries: Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia.
1995: Creation of the Almaty trade and financial bank
In June, 1995 the National Bank of Kazakhstan registers Almaty Trade and Financial Bank Ltd.
