History

2021: Bankruptcy

The Economic Court of Donetsk region declared the confectionery factory of AVK Renat Akhmetov bankrupt and opened the liquidation procedure due to the debts of the enterprise.

The main assets of AVK are located in territory beyond the control of Ukraine. Proceedings in the bankruptcy case of AVK (Mariupol) were opened in 2016.

2019: Two factories of the company go to Sberbank

On June 20, 2019 the Donetsk Region Economic Court upheld the claim of Sberbank and decided to impose a penalty on an integral property complex with an area of 22.2 thousand square meters, owned by A.V.K. Confectionery Factory OJSC. Donetsk. "

The court decision, according to Finance, notes that the foreclosure should occur "through sale through public bidding, as part of the enforcement procedure at a sale price at a level not lower than the usual prices for this type of property based on the assessment made by the subject of the evaluation activity during the execution of the enforcement proceedings."

As part of the same loan agreement, in January 2018, the Khozsud of the Transcarpathian Region issued an order to collect for debts to Sberbank and the AVK confectionery factory in Transcarpathia. In January 2019, the Kiev Economic Court resumed proceedings to recover for collateral under a bank lawsuit against the AVK Confectionery Factory in Lugansk.

In December 2018, another "daughter" of the Russian state bank - Prominvestbank - sued the AVK group for a confectionery factory in the city of Dnipro. At the same time, the AVK group stated that its factory in Dnipro is "working normally" and the negotiation process with Prominvestbank "on restructuring debt on loan obligations" is ongoing.

2014: Ban on sales in Russia, where the company received 70% of revenues

By 2014, 70% of AVK's revenues were in the Russian market, on which the group occupied 6% of the chocolate market. After Russia imposed an embargo in the same year, this market was completely lost.

1996: Acquisition of confectionery factories

In 1996, AVK acquired Donetsk, soon Lugansk and Mukachevsky confectionery factories - this allowed to produce a wide range of confectionery products.

1991: Start of cocoa products business

AVK began its activities in 1991, when the company supplied cocoa products to confectionery factories in Ukraine.
