Action Against Hunger is a global humanitarian organization which fights against hunger in the world. It helps the undereating children and provides to communities access to drinking water.
2019: The army of Nigeria temporarily closed office of the organization because of communications in terrorists
In September, 2019 the Nigerian army forced Action Against Hunger non-profit organization to close the office in Maiduguri, in Borno State, having accused her of assistance to the terrorist groups, such as Boko Haram and ISIL (is banned in the Russian Federation).
The NGO was accused several times of the help to terrorists, supply with their food and drugs. Her representatives urged the international community to allow them to continue the work.
In a month organization activity was resumed.
