2023: Recruiting supporters in Finland
In 2023, a far-right nationalist movement from the United States is gaining popularity in Finland, actively recruiting supporters among local youth.
Formally, members of Active Club Finland call themselves "fighters" against a system that promotes LGBT and BLM. They conduct joint training in mixed martial arts, organize concerts and meetings with militants who took part in a special military operation on the side of Ukraine.
The organization has three regional branches in Finnish territory - in the cities of Oulu, Tampere and Uusimaa. The movement supports panfin-ugrism (the idea of the so-called "Great Finland," under which Finno-Ugric peoples living in the Baltic states, the Republic of Karelia, Norway and Sweden should unite).
