2025: Service Launch
At the end of April 2025, the startup Adaptive Computer launched a new service based on artificial intelligence, allowing you to generate full-fledged applications without programming skills. The company raised $7 million for development as part of the "sowing" round of financing.
The founders of the platform, according to TechCrunch, are Dennis Xu (Dennis Xu; creator of the Mem note AI app) and Mike Soylu. With its mission, the startup declares "a complete rethink of the process of creating software for personal computers." Xu himself admits that he does not have the skills to write program code. Its new service is designed to help people who also do not know how to program, generate their own web applications with the necessary set of functions.
The creators of Adaptive Computer emphasize that compared to other similar AI-based tools, the new system simplifies the process of generating applications as much as possible. It is enough for the user to enter a text description indicating the desired functions.
Try to create an AI tool using any of the analogues, and they will ask you for API keys. Adaptive users are, among other things, ordinary people who need applications to simplify everyday tasks, "notes Xu. |
The "seed" round of funding for Adaptive Computer was attended by Pebblebed Foundation, Conviction, Weekend Fund, Anti Fund, Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki, etc. As of April 2025, the startup offers three options for accessing the service. In particular, the free version has a limit of ten applications and 20 requests per week. The standard subscription is $20 per month, and the Creator/Pro option is $100 per month.[1]
