2024: Establishing a Company
On October 21, 2024, the ministry agriculture Kyrgyzstan announced the creation of the Agro-Smart state enterprise with an authorized capital of 50 million soms (about 56 million). rubles The new company is designed to become a key tool in the process of digitalization of the country's agro-industrial complex, centralizing information flows and providing farmers with access to a single database.
First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan Zhanybek Kerimaliev explained that Agro-Smart will accumulate information on all aspects of agricultural activities, including livestock identification and pasture management. The enterprise will become a kind of "single window" through which farmers can interact with regional and regional structures.
The creation of Agro-Smart is part of a broader strategy to digitalize Kyrgyzstan's agriculture. Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan announced the formation of the state enterprise "Digital Agriculture" on the basis of the existing structure "Ayyl Maalymat." This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the national program for the development of regions and digitalization of the country.
During a meeting with President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, Minister of Agriculture Erkinbek Choduev stressed that along with digitalization, the ministry plans to focus on expanding the network of cooperative farms, developing seed-growing enterprises, breeding livestock and organic agriculture. These measures are aimed at the integrated development of the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan.
President Jeenbekov focused on the need to introduce "smart solutions" in agriculture and optimize the structure of the Ministry of Agriculture to increase its flexibility and compliance with modern requirements.[1]
