2025: Seed Plant Opening for ₽2 Billion

In February 2025, the Agrotek Group of Companies launched a selection and seed production complex on the territory of the Lipetsk special economic zone. The design capacity of the enterprise is 30 thousand tons of seeds per year. Investments in the project amounted to ₽2 billion.

According to the Lipetsk SEZ, 50 jobs were created at the enterprise, of which 46 positions were taken by residents of the Yeletsky district. The complex specializes in the production of soybean seeds, peas, corn and sunflower.

The production site is located on the Yelets territory of the special economic zone, which provides access to the developed infrastructure and logistics opportunities of the region. The initial cost of the project was ₽1,5 billion, but during the implementation the volume of investments increased.

Agrotek Group of Companies is one of the leading suppliers of plant protection products, seeds and micro-fertilizers on the Russian market. The company develops cooperation with domestic and foreign producers of agricultural products, imports and distributes products of international brands.

The launch of the new complex is aimed at developing the raw material base of local farms and providing farmers with high-quality sowing material. The company will contribute to improving the efficiency of agricultural production in the region.

The company conducts research work in the field of seed production and plant protection, provides consulting services for agricultural holdings and farms. The development of our own production of seed material corresponds to the exchange rate for import substitution in the agricultural sector.

Within the framework of the project, "Agrotek" introduces innovative technologies in the processes of selection and seed production. The new complex is equipped with equipment for cleaning, calibration and pre-sowing seed preparation, which ensures high quality of the final product.^[1]
