The launch of such products by the bank may be intended to preserve those customers who were denied a classic loan, as well as to attract new ones, - believes Elena Stratieva, director of SRO MiR.

This will allow the bank to preserve customers who do not meet the requirements for debt burden, and at the same time maximize their need for borrowed funds without the risk of losing business margins, the newspaper's interlocutors agree. The microfinance market does not exclude that Alfa Finance will enter the segment of loans for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the future, Alfa Bank itself is actively developing work with this segment, the publication says.[1]

The creation of a separate subsidiary with the main activity "microfinance activities" through loans will increase the total amount of funds that the Alfa Bank group will be able to offer to its clients, believes Sudohod senior lawyer Denis Sablukov.
