2025: Alexander Schmidt bought Alliance Borodino for ₽2,88 billion
Alexander Schmidt, the owner of the Saratov development group of companies "Kronverk," through the controlled LLC "Taganka" acquired a four-star hotel "Alliance Borodino" with an area of 24 thousand square meters on Rusakovskaya Street in Moscow for ₽2,88 billion, becoming the only bidder for the sale of a bankrupt asset. The deal reflects the reorientation of developers to commercial real estate in the face of declining demand in the primary housing market, where natural sales decreased by 26% in the first half of 2025. Information about the acquisition became known on September 1, 2025.
According to Kommersant, the purchase of the hotel complex is carried out as part of the sale of the property of the bankrupt BC Na Rusakovskaya LLC, which is controlled by the Rostec structure - RT-Capital LLC. The acquired object is located on a land plot of 1.5 hectares in the north-east of the capital.
RT-Capital confirmed the conclusion of a sale and purchase agreement with Taganka LLC, noting that the nearby business center will be implemented later as part of a separate procedure. Representatives of Taganka LLC could not be reached for comment.
Alexander Schmidt is the owner of the development company Kronverk, specializing in housing construction in the Saratov region.
