History

2023: Entering the Russian Market

At the end of March 2023, it became known about the entry of Alpinion Medical Systems into the Russian market. The South Korean company has entered into an agreement with R-Pharm Group of Companies, as a result of which the latter will be engaged in the commercial promotion of ultrasound diagnostics equipment, which is being developed by a new partner.

Within the framework of the agreement, which was concluded for a period of 10 years, until 2033, it is planned to register and distribute by the R-Pharm group of companies devices of high-grade and expert ultrasonic diagnostic systems developed by Alpinion, one of the world's leading brands in the field of creating effective high-precision diagnostic systems.

R-Pharm's partnership with Korean manufacturer Alpionion is another step towards increasing the availability of modern, fast and high-quality diagnostics for hundreds of thousands of Russian patients, said Elena Vyazmina, director of the R-Pharm laboratory diagnostics and medical equipment department.

On the official website of the Russian representative office of Alpinion Medical Systems, four five ultrasound systems under the Alpinion brand are indicated (by the end of March 2023):

  • E-CUBE 15;
  • E-CUBE 9;
  • E-CUBE 8;
  • E-CUBE 5;
  • E-CUBE i7.

There, the site says that the company is developing the technology for the production of single crystal sensors (Crystal Signature), the ultrasonic imaging platform (FleXcan Architecture), and the software for processing the ultrasonic signal (Optimal Imaging Suite). All these solutions are applied in all devices of the Alpinion Medical Systems line, helping the doctor to carry out the most accurate diagnosis of each patient. Almost all of the manufacturer's inpatient models suggest 4D format support in obstetrics.[1]
