2026: Nationalization

The Novosibirsk Regional Court turned into income states the property of the former head of the South Siberian Interregional Administration Rosprirodnadzor Andrei Frolov. This was announced on February 17, 2026. State Office of Public Prosecutor Russia

As part of the case, the Altaygrosnab agricultural holding worth over 10 billion rubles, created by Frolov, was nationalized. The prosecutor's office found that the official illegally combined the passage of the civil service with entrepreneurial activity, the income from which allowed him to acquire expensive real estate and invest in business development. In order to conceal the real financial situation, Frolov attracted proxies and relatives on whom he registered property.

Agroholding "Altaygrosnab" nationalized

Earlier, the Zaeltsovsky District Court of Novosibirsk, at the suit of the Prosecutor General's Office, turned other assets of Frolov and those affiliated with him into state revenue. Among them are three land plots, a residential building, four non-residential premises, 13 vehicles, an apartment in Russia, four more apartments in Turkey, two in Georgia, one in Thailand and Altai Transport Company LLC. The total market value of this property exceeded 460 million rubles. At the same time, the court refused to satisfy the requirements for applying to the income of the Russian Federation of the Altayagrosnab group of companies. Disagreeing with this decision, the Prosecutor General's Office appealed against it on appeal. As a result, the agricultural holding is also nationalized.
