JSC Altayvagon:

• is engaged in development and production of the modern, meeting the requirements customers, models of freight railway cars;
• performs capital and depot types of repairs of the rolling stock;
• makes small, average and large steel casting.

Production capacities

Production capacities of JSC Altayvagon allow to make up to 7500 freight cars, and to repair and upgrade till 1200 a year. The producing production departments are capable to provide production of three models of cars at the same time, carrying out repairs of varying complexity of six types of freight cars at the same time. At the same time repair can be of varying complexity: depot, capital, capital with prolongation of life. Today the Rubtsovsk branch makes over 3300 tons of steel casting monthly, the product range contains more than 55 positions of castings, including small, average and large casting.

The department of the chief designer is engaged in developments of different types of the rolling stock according to single requests of customers. It can be platforms, tanks, gondola cars and the specialized covered cars.

Equipment

On JSC Altayvagon one of the priority directions is technical retrofitting of production capacities. In 2009 to the tool shop of the enterprise the equipment for high-performance processing with high and stable accuracy figures at production of the shtampovy and forge and press equipment is successfully implemented. It elektroerozionnyk copy proshivnoy and wire and cut CNC machines, the multifunction vertical processing Mikron VCE 1600 Pro center, machines the GF 2171 vertical console and milling models with the FMS 3000/CNC Thanks to the implemented modern technologies of processing, was an opportunity to release the tool and the shtampovy equipment of the most irregular shape with a high accuracy and permanent quality, to process alloy steels in the tempered status. For increase in firmness of the shtampovy and forge and press equipment the technology of chemical and technical processing (diffusion borating) is implemented.

Innovations

Today specialists of JSC Altayvagon develop cars of new generation which are designed to satisfy as much as possible wishes of consumers, in particular, to be safer and to differ in the highest utilization properties. Due to increase in loading capacity, capacity and reliability new cars of models will allow to reduce cost value of cargo transportation. The end-to-end system of automated management Galaktika is implemented into JSC Altayvagon. It differs from others in what covers all levels of management, arranges information flows and provides to managers online access to data. Development perspectives

At the moment specialists of JSC Altayvagon are engaged in development of the following projects:

• Project of creation of highly effective rail car assembly production.
• Project of creation of the cargo cart of new generation, autobrake system and shock thrust gear.
• Project of complex automation of technical training of production.
• Project of creation of the development shop and test center.
• The project of creation of the automated workshop on production of wheel pairs.
• Project of upgrade of forge workshop.

Implementation of the planned projects will allow to increase production volume and to improve utilization properties of cars.
