2023: Investment of 3.5 billion rubles in the transfer of plants to the full cycle
The manufacturer of alcoholic beverages "Alvis," whose flagship brand is "Elder," has invested over 3.5 billion rubles in the transfer of two enterprises to the full production cycle. The company told about this on June 13, 2023.
The press service of the group clarified that Alvisa invested more than 2 billion rubles in the Chateau Alvisa plant and another 1.5 billion rubles in Alvisa Whisky. Previously, the Chateau Alvisa plant in Dagestan had only primary winemaking. The group built a bottling shop, where wine is now poured into cardboard packaging and glass bottles. Four lines allow the production of up to 7,000 bottles/bags per hour, the capacity for the acceptance and processing of grapes is 40,000 tons, for bottling - more than 40 million liters of wine per year.
The Alvisa Whisky distillery in Mineralnye Vody used to have only a bottling plant. Now the group of companies has built a plant for primary distilling, from May 2023 the company began to operate in a full cycle: whiskey is distilled, blended, aged and bottled. For the classic aging, Alvis bought more than 8500 oak barrels from Spain. The capacity of the distillery is 1.25 million liters of the absolute malt distillate and 3.3 million liters of barley distillate per year. Three filling lines allow you to produce 3,000-6,000 bottles per hour.
According to Interfax, by June 2023, Alvis brands occupy 15% of the cognac market, 4.7% - whiskey, 38% - vermouth, 3.5% - liquor, 2.3% - wine. The company cooperates with more than 200 distributors. It has regional employees in 38 constituent entities of the Federation. The distribution system allows you to ensure the presence on the shelves in more than 125 thousand retail outlets of the country - in all federal and 96% of regional retail chains.[1]
2022: Purchase of a VKOVP plant for the spill of cognac under the Kinovsky brand
As it became known on January 13, 2022, the Alvisa group of companies, which produces cognac under the Elder brand, agreed to acquire the Usovsky Wine and Cognac Basements (VKIP) alcoholic beverage plant in the Moscow region. Read more here.
