History

2025: Plant Construction Begins

In mid-May 2025, it became known that the Amtekhnos company, which became the new resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) of Tomsk, began construction of a plant for the production of innovative robotic systems for various industries.

According to Sib Media, with the inclusion of Amtekhnos, the number of residents of the Tomsk SEZ increased to 50. According to the SEZ management company, the new resident will specialize in the development of robotic systems for use in heavy industry and agriculture.

The company's development plan is designed until 2034 with a total investment of ₽83,33 million. The funds will be used to develop software, purchase equipment, attract highly qualified specialists, market finished products and build their own building on the territory of the special economic zone.

The company's investment project provides for the creation of modern technological solutions using artificial intelligence and automation aimed at increasing productivity and safety of production processes.

Within the framework of the project, it is planned to carry out research and development work, organize a production base and launch serial production of robotic systems. The implementation of the project will create 25 new jobs for residents of the region.

Amtehnos was registered in 2020. The owner of the enterprise is Olesya Ovchinnikova. According to information from the official website, the company implements projects for technological consulting, system integration and service support of automated systems in various sectors of the economy.^[1]
