2016: A10 Networks purchased Appcito
On July 26, 2016 the A10 Networks company announced acquisition of Appcito, Inc.
According to the statement of the company, the solution is based on desire to give to clients additional opportunities during the work with applications, during creation of private and public data centers.
Appcito purchase - a part of strategy of A10 Networks of development of the company in the field of optimization and security, interaction between a traditional and cloud environment. Acquisition of Appcito will allow A10 Networks to expand a solution portfolio for security of applications, to improve analytics of applications, the reporting and centralized operation.
According to A10 Networks, Appcito successfully fits into architecture of A10 Harmony solution. The architecture provided at the beginning of 2015 is developed for work with applications in traditional data centers, private, public and hybrid clouds.
